Having lived in India for 7 years I know Indian food and flavors. Food was terrible! Not authentic... watered down, not using correct spices  When I suggested to the waiter/manager that the food didn&#39;t taste good wasn&#39;t the right spices and was watered down he just gave me a blank look and no comment. Left the 4 dishes we ordered basically uneaten. and will never be back. The reviews must be from people who don&#39;t have much experience wiith tasting real Indian food. So sorry

Ristorante Indiano Just Desi

We loved the food and wine! There were many good options but we had the snapper and the sirloin, after we had an appertivo (the club sandwich). Such great flavors. Service was a little slow but was great up until the end. We were trying to pay the bill and asked if we could tip since we enjoyed everything, and our waiter responded &ldquo;we don&rsquo;t do that in Italy, you just pay the bill&rdquo; which we found fairly rude. I&rsquo;ve been to Rome, Milan, and Florence where I&rsquo;ve always been able to tip. So just a note to not assume that guests haven&rsquo;t been elsewhere in Italy/around the world or be standoffish when they&rsquo;re trying to compliment the restaurant.. definitely hurt the vibe a bit.

This is a very special and unique restaurant. You select your fish when you arrive and the style in which you would like it cooked &hellip; grilled, fried, Mediterranean. It is weighed and sent to the kitchen to be prepared. You also select the accompaniments. The fish is fresh, the preparation perfect. We went back a second night after our first visit. Don&rsquo;t miss this when you are in Lecce!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. Worth a visit..

It felt like we found somewhere the locals would be eating. Authentic and excellent food with very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended. We ate there two nights during our 4 night stay

Had a delightful and delicious meal in a small room adjacent to the terrace. The decor was pleasant and the food was excellent. With a waitress who wanted to make sure we had a great time, we were sure to remember and return to this restaurant. Delightful.

The food was good, but after only 70 minutes we felt rushed to pay and leave.

I feel bad writing this because I know this is someone&rsquo;s life&rsquo;s work - but this was probably the worst Indian restaurant I&rsquo;ve ever been to. Food was cold (and we could hear the microwave working hard in the back), and we were given paper plates. The price did not really represent this - it was quite pricy. We were so thrilled to eat some Indian after a long time in Italy but unfortunately this was not a success.

The veg samosa was amazing, the aloo was really good.  The Thali was horrendous - watery curry, day old rice, etc.  Just terrible.    Paper plates and bowls, cheap wooden utensils. Staff was nice. Price was average.

Per essere cibo indiano &egrave; persino poco speziato, soprattutto il riso con verdure, sembrava una insalata di riso cin verdure, tutto slegato.Buoni i samosa e il piatto di melanzane speziate!Purtroppo il fatto che i piatti vengano riscaldati al microonde non aiuta. Piatti e posate monouso, di carta super scomodi.

To be Indian food is even little spiced, especially the rice with vegetables, it looked like a salad of cina vegetables, all unlegated. Good samosa and spiced melon plate! Unfortunately, the fact that the dishes are heated to the microwave does not help.
